Closet Raid is our exclusive by-appointment only wardrobe service where we help you get rid of stuff. We are an upscale online luxury consignment service that specializes in selling new and gently-used contemporary, designer and vintage clothing and accessories straight from the closets of fashionistas nationwide. A Closet Raid Appointment offers free organizing tips, wardrobe consultation, styling and an honest assessment of what items to keep/donate/consign. Clients have the option to donate or place consignment 65/35 the sale of their items via our online, retail and pop-up stores. We accept designer and in style fashion as well as shoes and accessories for women, men and children.
We are committed to offering an edited selection of only the highest quality, in-style, and designer name brands we can find. We authenticate, research, price, inventory and photograph your merchandise. If you decide to donate, proceeds from Closet Raids are used to create financial viability for LoveWearYouLiveToo.org which helps families escape poverty and homelessness through fashion and design.
Because It's Hard to Let Go
Letting go can be a huge dilemma. We suggest that instead of having a garage sale, our clients place on luxury consignment items that they have placed a little more value on but still are no longer interested in holding onto or items that they no longer want for whatever the reason but are still in style.
During our appointment, we will help you determine what items to get rid of. We raid your closets looking for items that are fabulous, stylish and chic but we select those that fit the following criteria:
• may never fit you again
• it's just not your color
• your lifestyle has changed and you will never wear it again
• you've had it for a while/it was a gift, and the tags are still on it
• it was an impulse buy and just isn't you
• you simply need the money
It Costs You Nothing
Closet Raids are of no cost to you. Closet Raid clients can select to consign or donate one, some or all of their items. Our online consignment agreement is 65/35 for a 90-day term. We do not charge if an item does not sell. Unsold items will either be returned or (if you choose) donated to charity providing you with a tax write-off and the opportunity to help a family in need.
You Never Have to Leave Your House
We come to you. Closet Raid clients can choose consignment or donation of one, some or all of their merchandise. Our online consignment agreement is 65/35 for a 90-day term. During the Closet Raid, we discuss every item and determine with the client whether the item will be placed on consignment or donated. Donated merchandise will be sold through Love Wear You Live with 65% of proceeds to LoveWearYouLiveToo.org. Of course, you are more than welcome to drop the items off at our store. NOT IN DETROIT? No problem! We can consult via video chat and we offer free UPS pick-ups anywhere in the USA.
